Hello again. I know I didn't post yesterday (and I warned you I wasn't because of gymnastics). Yesterday, I woke up and just hung out. It was kind of relax day, even though I did get dressed. I waited for the men's gymnastics Olympic Team be announced. I don't know as much about men's gymnastics as I do the women, but I know a little. And I have a HUGE crush on Jake Dalton, so I HAD to know if he made the team. And he did! Along with, Danell Leyva, John Orozco, Jonathon Horton (my 2nd favorite), and Sam Mikulak. The alternates are Chris Brooks (3rd favorite), Steven Legendre, and Alexander Naddour. I think we have a good team for the men all in all. I went to the grocery store later with my mom. I got home just in time to watch Swimming Olympic Trials. I like watching swimming, but not as much as gymnastics (of course!). It was good, but then, it was time for the real stuff. Haley came over just before it started. We watched it together and with my mom. We had a good life when Nastia fell off bars (the 3 of us don't like her.). So, there's this gymnastics video of a little girl and she's hanging upside down on a swing set. The little girl goes, "Look at me, Mommy!" Well, it came on right after Nastia's fall. Haley and I laid in the floor like she landed (and I mean, she ate mat! She landed right on her stomach!) and said, "Look at me, Mommy! I'm a gymnast, just like Nastia Liukin!" We also gave her a new nickname, Nasty Lukey (LOL!). Then, we continued to make fun of her from saying she took a nap in the middle of her routine to her asking for a sandwich and being thirsty. Let's just say we had A LOT of laughs for most of the rest of the competition. We also aren't big fans of Rebecca Bross (I guess it's those WOGA girls). And when she fell off bars 3 times and didn't even finish her routine, we got a good kick out of that, too (I know, we're horrible. But, what the heck). No offense, to those 2 gymnast or WOGA, but we found it pretty dang hilarious. Look at the bottom of this post for a picture of Haley and I going the Nasty Lukey. After the competition, we already knew Gabby Douglas and Jordyn Wieber were on the team (not a shocker.). I also figured Aly Raisman and McKayla Maroney would also be on the team. I had several people on my list for the 5th person. Kyla Ross was the first based on what I thought would happen. I though Alicia Sacramone would be an alternate and I really didn't care who else was. Well, we waited about 15 minutes after the competition to hear the results. Haley and I sat in the floor, gripping each others hands so tight, they went numb. We were nervous to say the least! Then, the man came out to announce the team. He read off the names, "Gabby Douglas, McKayla Maroney, Aly Raisman, Kyla Ross, and Jordyn Wieber." I was so excited! I thought, "Well, Alicia will be an alternate and everything will be good!" Boy was I wrong! I looked online (as you couldn't hear him announce the alternates) and they were Elizabeth Price, Sarah Finnegan, and Anna Li. Honestly, I was shocked by Anna Li over Alicia. I know she has a bar set, but dang. Alicia's so much better on beam and she has vault that Anna doesn't. I'm still kind of upset about it, but I can't control anything. Alicia went out with a bang though! She probably had the best 2 vaults I've ever seen from her and she had a good beam routine. I couldn't be more proud of my favorite competitor of the competition. Of course, Aly was my 2nd (Shawn Johnson will always be my favorite gymnast, though!) and she made the team and I was excited! I figured she would, but actually knowing makes it become real. Congrats to all the guys and girls that competed or made the teams yesterday! I started crying a little when Aly started crying. It was so sweet. Everyone except Kyla was crying their eyes out. I think both Team USAs have a good shot in London. I had to go to bed shortly afterward (not that I was tired, I was hyper as could be!). Today, I've just stayed in my pajamas and hung out. Worked on some vocals, played the piano a little bit. Saturday, the discuss of my dance classes came up, so I told my mom how I wanted to take gymnastics. She's "thinking" about it, but that almost always means yes! I'm SOOOO excited! I think I'm going to take ballet, tap, and lyrical this year. I hate not taking jazz or modern, but I want new stuff. I also will help with 3 little kids class. This way, everything should be cheaper. Plus, once I start gymnastics, I won't be able to get my nails done every 2 weeks like I do now, she that'll be almost $40 more a month. I can't wait for fall, except for the fact school starts. All my friends say they're bored, but I'd rather be bored at home than bored at school. Katie texted me this afternoon and asked if I wanted to spend the night, but I'm going to my grandparents tomorrow, so that won't work. She then wanted to hang out, but she wasn't home at the time and I didn't want to hang out when she texted when she got home. So, I watched the last part of Olympic Trials tonight for swimming. Now, we have to wait unti London. ): I think I might make it!(; Well, I think that's about it, so I'll leave you with some pictures from yesterday.

The coolest thing I saw yesterday; a Shawn Johnson Coke bottle. (yes, I bought it!)
"Look at me, Mommy! I'm a gymnast just like Nastia Liukin!" Haley and I doing the Nasty Lukey. LOL!
